HPE 560FLR-SFP 10GbE 2-port SFP+ network card

SKU CH-W36Z-KJ754 MPN 560FLR-SFP

Two-port 10 GbE server adapter with SFP+ slots on a PCIe 2.0 x8 FlexibleLOM form factor

  • Dual 10 GbE ports enable high-speed server links
  • PCI Express 2.0 x8 host interface provides ample bandwidth
  • FlexibleLOM form factor fits compatible HPE servers
  • Two SFP+ cages support optical fiber media
  • RoHS certified for environmentally friendly deployment

Dual 10GbE SFP+ server adapter

The HPE 560FLR-SFP installs in a PCI Express 2.0 x8 slot and presents two SFP+ ports for 10GBase-X optical fibre links. It is built for servers that need a pair of high-speed uplinks without occupying a standard expansion bracket.

Two ports of 10 Gb/s headroom

Each SFP+ cage accepts 10GBase-X optics so the card delivers 10 Gb/s per lane. The PCIe 2.0 x8 host interface provides enough throughput for both ports at line rate; beyond dual 10 Gb/s the bus becomes the limiting factor.

FlexibleLOM form factor for blade density

The FlexibleLOM design slides directly into supported HPE server bays, freeing a full-height PCIe slot for other devices. No separate bracket or external power cable is required, and RoHS compliance meets environmental mandates.

Questions about this item

Will the 560FLR-SFP work in my server that only has PCI Express 2.0 x8 slots?

The host interface is PCI Express 2.0 x8, so the card is electrically compatible with those slots and will negotiate at that speed.

How can I verify the 560FLR-SFP is operating at 10GbE after installation?

Check the link LEDs on each SFP+ port; a solid green light indicates an active 10GBase-X optical connection at full rate.

Does the 560FLR-SFP include SFP+ transceivers or must I buy them separately?

The card provides two empty SFP+ cages; compatible optical transceivers and fibre patch cables are sold separately.
