A 24-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet Layer 3 switch with SFP+ slots, rack-mountable in 1U and supporting redundant power supplies
The HPE 5920AF-24XG is a 1U rack-mountable Layer 3 switch designed for high-density 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. It provides 24 SFP+ slots for fibre or direct-attach copper links and supports redundant power supplies for increased availability.
This switch fits environments that need 24 ports of 10GbE in a single rack unit with full Layer 3 routing capability. It is not intended for deployments requiring Power over Ethernet on RJ-45 ports or for builds that rely on dedicated stacking ports for virtual chassis management.
Confirm that your existing SFP+ modules match the switch port specification and that your rack can accommodate the 26-inch depth. Ensure your power infrastructure can support the redundant power supply option if high availability is required.

All 24 ports accept SFP+ modules, so you must supply compatible 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ transceivers for each active link.
The unit is 17.3 inches wide and 26 inches deep in a 1U form factor, so it fits standard racks but verify depth clearance against older equipment.
Use the management interface to check routing tables, interface counters and ping tests across configured VLANs to verify Layer 3 operation.
