Delivers 1500 W with 80 Plus Platinum efficiency in a hot-plug common-slot design for HPE servers
The HPE 684532-B21 is a 1500 watt hot-plug server power supply built to the Common Slot form factor. It carries 80 Plus Platinum certification with efficiency above 90 percent and accepts a 100 to 240 volt input range at 50 or 60 hertz. The unit operates as a single module rather than a redundant pair.
Data-centre racks that use HPE Common Slot infrastructure can insert this supply for hot-swap maintenance without downtime. It is not for systems that lack a Common Slot chassis, for builds requiring redundant paired supplies, or for environments restricted to 100 volt circuits where the rated output cannot be delivered.
The supply delivers its full 1500 watt rating only when fed from a 200 to 240 volt source, with an apparent power draw of 1681 VA. At lower input voltages the available output drops, so the 200-240V requirement is the single specification that determines whether this part matches the installation.

The 1500W output is specified for AC 200-240 V input; at lower voltages the available power will be reduced.
It certifies efficiency above 90% at typical loads, lowering electricity cost and reducing waste heat inside the chassis.
Common Slot standardises the physical and electrical interface, so higher-wattage Platinum Plus modules can occupy the same bay if the server supports them.
