The HPE Aruba CX 6000 provides 24 copper ports at 10M/100M/1G and four 1G SFP uplinks in a compact, manageable chassis. Fanless operation under continuous traffic

With a listed draw of 22.40 W the unit runs without moving parts, so acoustic output stays at zero during sustained loads. The ASIC forwards frames at line rate across all 24 ports and the four SFP slots without throttling. PoE is not available on this model, so power budget remains constant regardless of attached endpoints. Thermal design relies on convection, keeping performance stable in crowded cabinets.

Desktop or rack mounting with minimal clearance

The compact form factor fits on a shelf or in a standard rack using optional brackets, and the fanless design eliminates airflow alignment issues. Copper ports auto-negotiate speed and duplex, reducing configuration errors during first boot. SFP transceivers must be sourced separately; using unsupported modules is the most common cause of link failures. Central or the Web GUI simplifies initial VLAN and ACL setup for teams without deep CLI experience.
