HPE Aruba X391 550W AC Power Module

The HPE Aruba X391 is a 550 W hot-pluggable power supply designed for compatible Aruba network switches. It installs as a plug-in module to deliver AC power directly to switch ports. Network administrators use it to provide or expand power capacity in enterprise wiring closets. The unit supports live insertion and removal without powering down the chassis.

Replacing a failed or lower-capacity supply

This module replaces a failed internal supply or upgrades an existing lower-wattage unit to meet higher PoE demands. The jump is worth it when connected devices such as access points or phones exceed the current power budget. It is not for switches that require a different form factor or wattage rating. Buyers needing redundant power should verify chassis slot availability first.
