HPE Color LaserJet CP-4025N Network Printer

The HPE Color LaserJet CP-4025N is a new network colour laser printer supplied with a full set of new generic toner cartridges. It prints both black and colour pages at up to 35 ppm with a resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. A standard paper input capacity of 600 sheets supports extended print runs without frequent reloading. Ethernet connectivity integrates the unit directly into a wired office network.

Small workgroups needing colour output

This printer suits teams that require consistent colour documents and a ready-to-use toner bundle. Buyers who need wireless or USB direct printing should look elsewhere, as the supplied connectivity is limited to wired Ethernet. The unit may show cosmetic discoloration, so it is not intended for environments where pristine appearance is a requirement.

Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T interface

The single specification that determines compatibility is the wired Ethernet interface supporting 10Base-T, 100Base-TX and 1000Base-T. If your infrastructure relies on Wi-Fi, USB host printing or any other connection type, this model will not integrate without additional hardware. The 800 MHz processor and 600-sheet input tray are secondary to the network interface for deployment decisions.

Questions about this item

How do I install the HP CE260A black toner cartridge and the three colour cartridges in the CP-4025N?

Open the front cover, pull each cartridge straight out by its handle, remove the orange sealing tape from the new cartridge, shake it gently side-to-side, then slide it in until it clicks; repeat for cyan CE261A, yellow CE262A and magenta CE263A.

Which consumables will need replacement after the included toner is used?

The bundle supplies black toner rated for 8500 pages and each colour toner for 11000 pages; after those yields you will need new CE260A black and CE261A/CE262A/CE263A colour cartridges, plus eventual replacement of the fuser film, pressure roller, transfer roller and pickup rollers.

What is the first limit reached when printing large jobs continuously at 35 ppm?

The 600-sheet input tray empties first, requiring a paper refill before the job can continue.
