HPE Color LaserJet Enterprise M553N bundle

This HPE Color LaserJet Enterprise M553N laser printer arrives new with a full set of generic toner cartridges. Ethernet connectivity makes it network-ready for shared office use.

Suited for workgroups needing fast colour output

Teams that require wireless or USB printing as their primary connection should look elsewhere because this model only provides Ethernet. Buyers who need automatic duplex scanning or a larger paper capacity will need a different device. The 8.5 x 14 inch maximum sheet size also limits anyone producing oversized documents.

Ethernet-only network interface

The sole wired network port is an RJ-45 Ethernet connection. There is no Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or additional USB host port for direct printing. Confirm that your infrastructure uses wired Ethernet before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Does the M553N bundle include toner cartridges or must they be purchased separately?

The bundle supplies new generic HP CF360A black, CF361A cyan, CF363A magenta and CF362A yellow cartridges, each rated for 5000 pages, so no separate toner purchase is required.

Which connectivity option suits a small office that already uses wired networking?

The built-in Ethernet (RJ-45) port connects directly to an existing wired LAN, and the USB 2.0 port is also available for local attachment if needed.

What does the 40 ppm black and colour speed mean for everyday print jobs?

Both mono and full-colour output run at up to 40 pages per minute, with a first-page-out time of 6 seconds, so multi-page colour documents finish quickly.
