Enterprise colour laser with toner bundle

The HPE Color LaserJet Enterprise M653DN is a network-ready colour laser printer supplied with a full set of generic toner cartridges. It targets offices that need consistent duplex output at up to 60 ppm in both black and colour. The 4.3 inch display and keypad provide direct job control without a host PC. Buyers who require wireless or mobile printing protocols will need a different model.

Ethernet-only connectivity limits placement

The printer connects through a single RJ-45 Ethernet port and a USB 2.0 port for local attachment. No Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or additional network interfaces are present, so the device must sit within cabled reach of the network switch. First page out time is 5.7 seconds for both mono and colour jobs. Environments that demand cable-free placement or direct mobile printing cannot use this unit as-is.

650-sheet input and toner yields set volume ceiling

The standard paper tray holds 650 sheets and the output bin matches that capacity, supporting moderate daily workloads without frequent refills. Bundled toner yields are 12500 pages black and 10500 pages each for cyan, magenta and yellow. High-volume departments exceeding these yields will face more frequent cartridge changes and should plan for additional supply stock.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the bundle with the generic toner cartridges or buy the printer alone?

The bundle includes four new generic cartridges — black CF450A rated at 12500 pages and cyan CF451A, magenta CF453A, yellow CF452A each at 10500 pages — so you can print immediately without ordering supplies separately.

What does 60 ppm really deliver in daily office use?

Both black and colour output reach 60 pages per minute with a first page in 5.7 seconds, so large reports or marketing handouts finish quickly even during peak hours.

Does the Ethernet RJ-45 port limit network speed or features?

The printer connects via standard Ethernet and USB 2.0; the wired link handles the 60 ppm data rate without bottleneck, and the 4.3 inch display lets you configure network settings directly.
