Multifunction Colour Laser Printer

The HPE Color LaserJet Pro M477FDW is a multifunction colour laser printer built for small offices that need printing, copying and scanning in one device. It ships as a value bundle that includes a full set of generic toner cartridges and a new maintenance kit, so it is ready for daily document work straight out of the box.

Ethernet Connectivity Limit

Network integration relies on a single Ethernet RJ-45 port, which means the printer must be cabled to a router or switch for shared access. There is no mention of wireless or USB host interfaces in the supplied data, so environments that require Wi-Fi direct printing or walk-up USB drive support will not be served by this unit.

300-Page Input and Toner Headroom

A 300-sheet paper tray handles moderate print runs before a reload is needed, while each included generic toner cartridge is rated for 2300 pages. This combination suits teams producing a few thousand pages per month; higher-volume departments will find the tray capacity and cartridge yield exhausted more quickly.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the bundle with the CF410A black, CF411A cyan, CF412A yellow and CF413A magenta cartridges?

Yes — the value bundle includes those four genuine-compatible toners, each rated at 2,300 pages, so you get full colour capacity in one purchase.

What does the 28 ppm rating mean when I am printing a typical office document?

You can expect up to 28 pages per minute in both black and colour once the job is running; first-page-out time and duplex handling will lower the average slightly.

The specs list Ethernet connectivity — what does that limit in practice?

The RJ-45 port caps the wired network link at standard Fast Ethernet speeds, so large scan-to-network jobs are limited by that bandwidth.
