24-bay 2U rack server

The HPE DL380 Gen11 chassis provides 24 small-form-factor drive bays in a 2U rack footprint. It is a CTO barebone intended for integrators who will choose their own processors, memory and storage. The SR932i-p Gen11 24G RAID controller is included, while the NC designation means no additional controller ships with the unit.

Build integration

The server arrives without CPUs, DIMMs or drives, so the builder must supply compatible Xeon scalable processors and memory modules. The 24 front bays accept 2.5-inch devices, freeing internal space that would otherwise be occupied by larger carriers. A rack cabinet and power distribution are required to complete the installation.
