A 384Gbps fabric module adding two XFP expansion slots to H3C A7500 switches for data networking
The HPE JD193B is a 384Gbps fabric module designed for the H3C A7500 switch series. It serves as the core switching fabric for data networking deployments. Network engineers and infrastructure teams use it to expand the internal throughput of compatible chassis.
The module delivers 384Gbps of total fabric bandwidth across the chassis. This single figure determines whether the part meets the performance target for a given network design. Buyers who need a different throughput level cannot use this module.
The module occupies one of two fabric slots in the H3C A7500 chassis and provides two XFP expansion slots for uplink connectivity. It requires a compatible A7500 chassis with available fabric bays and appropriate XFP transceivers for the desired link types. It does not function in other switch families or as a standalone unit.

The 384Gbps figure represents the total switching fabric capacity the module adds to the H3C A7500 chassis, enabling high-throughput data networking across all fitted line cards.
Both expansion slots use the XFP interface, which limits transceiver choice to XFP-form-factor optics and their supported speeds and reaches.
It installs directly into a dedicated fabric module slot of the H3C A7500 Switch Series chassis and does not use a standard line-card slot.
