Compatible HPE MSR Router Power Supply

The HPE JG527A#ABA X351 is a 300W internal AC power supply designed for MSR3044, MSR3064, MSR4060 and MSR4080 routers. It converts 100-240VAC input to 12VDC output for network infrastructure. At least one unit is required per chassis, with support for up to two modules in the MSR3044 and MSR3064 or up to four in the MSR4060 and MSR4080 for redundancy.

300W AC Input Thermal and Power Profile

Operating from 110VAC or 220VAC mains, the module delivers 300W of regulated 12VDC power to the router chassis. The unit weighs approximately 2.49 lb and carries WEEE environmental certification. As an internal server power supply, thermal management and acoustic output are governed by the host router’s fan tray and airflow design rather than the supply itself.

Redundancy Upgrade for MSR3044 and MSR3064

Adding a second X351 module to an MSR3044 or MSR3064 provides N+1 power redundancy, eliminating a single point of failure for the router. For MSR4060 and MSR4080 chassis, up to four modules can be installed to match higher availability requirements. The upgrade is worthwhile when continuous uptime is critical and the chassis has available power supply bays.
