What this cable connects

This is a 25G SFP28 direct-attach cable built for short-reach links between Aruba switches and compatible NICs. It carries 25 Gbps over a 9.84 ft fibre assembly with SFP28 male connectors on both ends.

Check your ports and reach

Verify that both ends of the link accept SFP28 modules and that the 9.84 ft length fits the rack or row layout. Confirm the host equipment supports 25 Gbps operation over passive copper before ordering.

Heat noise and power

Passive construction means no onboard electronics, so the cable adds no measurable heat or acoustic noise. Power draw is limited to the transceiver circuitry inside the connected ports.
