HPE JL812A#ABA Instant On 1830 24-Port Gb Smart Switch 24x 1G 2x SFP Fanless

Small-Business Smart Switch

The HPE Instant On 1830 provides 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports and two 1G SFP slots for fibre uplinks. It delivers Layer 2 switching with VLAN support and Global Storm Control for traffic protection. A Trusted Platform Module adds hardware-based security for the network infrastructure. Cloud management through the mobile app or web browser requires no recurring fees.

Fanless Silent Operation

A fanless design ensures completely silent operation in office environments or noise-sensitive spaces. The switch handles 26 active ports without active cooling, reducing mechanical failure points. Power consumption scales with the connected devices across the 10, 100, and 1000 Mbps links. The unit ships with a US power cord for immediate deployment.

Cloud And Local Management

The Aruba Instant On mobile app enables guided setup, monitoring, and configuration from a phone without technical expertise. An integrated local web interface offers advanced options including SNMP and a quick start-up wizard. Both management paths work on the same hardware with no licence costs. The feature set targets small businesses needing affordable, manageable connectivity.
