Enterprise Wireless Access Point

The HPE Juniper Networking AP45E-US is a Wi-Fi 6E wireless access point built for business environments. It delivers up to 8.15 Gbit/s aggregate wireless speed across 2.40 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands. The package includes the AP45E unit and a universal bracket for flexible mounting.

High-density offices, not home users

This access point suits organisations that need high-throughput wireless for dense client populations and want the 6 GHz spectrum. It is not intended for residential deployments or installations that cannot use a wired Ethernet uplink to the device.

8.15 Gbit/s aggregate wireless throughput

The single figure that determines fit is the 8.15 Gbit/s maximum data rate across three radio bands. If your network design requires higher aggregate throughput or a different band configuration, this model will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the AP45E-US is delivering the 8.15 Gbit/s Wi-Fi 6E performance after installation?

Check the management dashboard for negotiated PHY rates on 2.40 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz radios and run throughput tests against a Wi-Fi 6E client to verify the 8.15 Gbit/s aggregate data rate.

What comes in the box with the AP45E-US and what must I purchase separately?

The package includes the AP45E wireless access point and one universal bracket; PoE injectors, switches, mounting rails and any licensing are sold separately.

Which AP45 series model should I choose for Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth LE support?

The AP45E-US is the Wi-Fi 6E model that also supports adaptive Bluetooth LE, while AP34 and AP24 add Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth LE in different form factors.
