Switch purpose

The HPE Juniper Networking EX4000-24P is a managed switch with 24 PoE+ ports and four 1G/10G SFP/SFP+ uplinks. It suits offices or multi-tenant sites that need wired connectivity and power for access points, cameras or phones over a single cable.

Installation notes

The unit mounts in a standard rack and the stack port lets you link several switches without extra cabling. PoE budget is 370 W so the total draw of all powered devices must stay below that figure; exceeding it will shut down ports.

Interface limits

Copper ports run at 10/100/1000BASE-T speeds only. Uplinks accept 1 GbE or 10 GbE optics that are sold separately. The switch consumes 51 W itself, leaving the remainder of the 370 W budget for connected PoE+ devices.
