10GBase-T distance and cabling limits

10GBase-T over twisted pair reaches 100 metres on Category 6a or better cabling. Shorter runs on Category 6 are possible but reduce the guaranteed distance. The interface uses RJ-45 connectors compatible with existing structured cabling plants. No SFP or SFP+ transceiver slots are provided on this model.
