Target deployment scale

The SRX345 Services Gateway consolidates security, routing, switching and WAN connectivity in a 1U rack-mountable form factor. It is designed for midsize to large distributed enterprise locations supporting up to 200 users. The platform delivers a comprehensive suite of application security services and advanced threat mitigation capabilities for cloud-enabled networks.

Sustained throughput profile

The gateway provides up to 5 Gbps firewall throughput and 800 Mbps IPsec VPN performance in a single consolidated appliance. Eight Gigabit Ethernet ports with 1000Base-T technology enable up to 1000 mbps data transfer over twisted pair cable. A dedicated management port ensures reliable administrative access during heavy load conditions.

Upgrade considerations

This unit replaces standalone routers, switches and security appliances by integrating Ethernet, serial, T1/E1, ADSL2/2+, VDSL and 3G/4G LTE wireless interfaces. The 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi capability adds wireless access without separate hardware. It is not suited for environments requiring higher user density or throughput beyond the stated firewall and VPN limits.
