Enterprise monochrome MFP

The HPE LaserJet Enterprise 500 MFP M525C is a new multifunction laser printer built for office workgroups that need reliable black-and-white output. It prints and copies at up to 42 pages per minute with a 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. A maximum paper capacity of 1000 sheets supports high-volume daily use. Ethernet connectivity makes it network-ready for shared environments.

Who this suits and who it does not

Teams that need fast monochrome printing, copying and scanning over a wired network will find the speed and capacity fit their workflow. Buyers who require colour output or wireless connectivity should look at other models because this unit is monochrome-only and provides Ethernet as its sole network interface.

The deciding specification

The 42 ppm mono print and copy speed combined with 1000-sheet input capacity determines whether this MFP matches your peak workload; if your daily volume regularly exceeds that throughput you will need a higher-capacity device.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the M525C prints at the rated 42 ppm after setup?

Print a multi-page test document from the control panel and time the output; the machine should deliver close to 42 pages per minute once warmed up.

What ships with the CF118A unit and what must I source separately?

The printer includes a new maintenance kit (fuser, rollers, pads, transfer and pressure rollers), power and Ethernet cables; toner is not supplied and must be purchased separately.

Which capacity of the LaserJet Enterprise 500 MFP M525C matches a 1000-sheet input requirement?

The listed model already provides a 1000-sheet maximum paper input, so this single configuration meets that capacity need.
