This single drive is the throughput bottleneck; backup windows and restore times scale directly with its performance, so environments requiring higher concurrent stream counts must add up to two additional half-height drives.

900 TB compressed capacity with 15-module expansion

The base module holds 40 cartridges for 900 TB of compressed capacity using the included 45 TB media. The platform supports up to 15 expansion modules, scaling the total compressed capacity to 28.8 PB. The 40-slot base covers modest archive workloads, while larger datasets will require additional modules and drives to avoid slot and throughput exhaustion.
