SKU CH-T5EJ-Z2NAV MPN AP-534Product

Wireless access point delivering 3.55 Gbit/s with dual 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, PoE and flexible mounting

  • 55 Gbit/s wireless speed handles dense client loads
  • Dual 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports prevent wired bottlenecks
  • PoE powered device port simplifies single-cable deployment
  • Wall, ceiling or rail mounting fits any install plan
  • TAA compliant for regulated procurement requirements

HPE AP-534 Wireless Access Point

The HPE AP-534 is a wall-mountable, ceiling-mountable and rail-mountable wireless access point designed for small-business networks. It delivers 3.55 Gbit/s aggregate throughput over 2.40 GHz and 5 GHz bands using IEEE 802.11ac with MIMO and beamforming. Two 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports and a PoE PD port simplify wired backhaul and power.

Suits offices needing dual-band AC coverage

Organisations requiring 6 GHz operation or higher throughput than 3.55 Gbit/s will need a different platform. Environments that cannot mount devices on walls, ceilings or rails should consider alternative form factors.

3.55 Gbit/s aggregate wireless speed

This single figure defines the maximum combined data rate across both radio bands. If your deployment demands more bandwidth than 3.55 Gbit/s, this access point will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

Does the AP-534 run hot or draw much power when operating continuously?

The AP-534 supports PoE powered-device operation through its 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, so power comes from the switch and heat output stays low during all-day use.

What cabling or switch ports do I need to use both 5 Gigabit Ethernet connections?

Two Cat 5e or better cables and a switch that provides PoE on two 5 GbE RJ-45 ports are required for full wired throughput and power.

Will the AP-534 work alongside my older 802.11ac devices on the 2.40 GHz and 5 GHz bands?

Yes, it operates on both 2.40 GHz and 5 GHz with IEEE 802.11ac, MIMO and beamforming, so legacy clients connect normally while newer ones get higher throughput.
