Delivers 15.40 W of PoE power over a single Ethernet port for compatible Aruba access points and the HPE 501 Wireless Client Bridge, compliant with IEEE 802.3af
This injector delivers 15.40 watts of Power over Ethernet from a single standard Ethernet input. It is designed for network administrators deploying compatible Aruba access points or the HPE 501 Wireless Client Bridge where AC power is unavailable at the device location.
The unit complies with the IEEE 802.3af standard, capping output at 15.40 watts per port. It provides exactly one PoE output from one Ethernet input, so each powered device requires its own injector and a separate switch port for data backhaul.
This injector replaces generic midspan solutions for the specific Aruba access points listed in the compatibility data, including AP-303, AP-304, AP-305, AP-314, AP-315, AP-365, AP-367, AP-504, AP-505, AP-567 and IAP variants. The upgrade is worthwhile when a managed PoE switch is not present and a standards-compliant, single-device power source is needed.

The injector delivers 15.40 W, matching the IEEE 802.3af limit, so it powers any listed access point that draws up to that level including the AP-305.
It is the maximum power the injector can supply over the PoE port; the connected access point will draw only what it needs up to that ceiling.
It follows IEEE 802.3af, so the PoE output is limited to 15.40 W and works with any compliant device on the compatibility list.
