Portable rack cooling for server rooms

The Tripp Lite SRCOOL12K is a self-contained portable air conditioner delivering 12,000 BTU (3.5 kW) of cooling capacity. It plugs into a standard NEMA 5-15R outlet and provides 247 CFM airflow to protect rack-mounted equipment from overheating.

Suits small server rooms needing spot cooling

IT managers cooling a 500 square foot space or a single rack row will benefit from the built-in dehumidification and automatic restart after power loss. Sites without a 120V 15-amp circuit or those requiring network management without purchasing the separate SRCOOLNET accessory should consider other options.

120V NEMA 5-15P power requirement

The unit draws a maximum of 1250 watts and includes a 6-foot (1.83 m) cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug. Verifying that the installation site provides a compatible 120V receptacle on a 15-amp breaker is the single specification that determines whether this air conditioner can be deployed immediately.
