The unit provides 4x 1GBase-T ports, so aggregate wired throughput cannot exceed the physical Gigabit limit on any single link. All traffic inspection, Zero Trust enforcement and hardware-accelerated firewall processing share this same bandwidth pool. Cloud-delivered firmware updates arrive over the same connections, so update windows should be planned around peak usage. No additional wired interfaces or higher-speed uplinks are present on this model.

The appliance ships with a US power cord and is designed for simple desktop or shelf placement. Initial setup is completed through the Instant On mobile app or web portal, which discovers the device and applies configuration automatically. A common issue occurs when the gateway cannot reach the cloud service due to upstream firewall rules or DNS blocking, preventing registration. Another frequent stumbling point is attempting to manage the unit locally without an active internet connection, which the cloud-first architecture does not support.
