HPE 800W Flex Slot Platinum Power Supply

This HPE Flex Slot Platinum power supply delivers 800W of hot-plug power for compatible HPE servers. It carries 80 PLUS Platinum certification at 94% efficiency and meets low-halogen standards. The module fits the Flex Slot form factor and operates from AC 230 V input.

Hot-plug installation and common issues

The unit slides into a Flex Slot bay without tools and can be swapped while the server remains powered on. Ensure the release latch fully engages so the module seats firmly on the backplane connector. A loose seat is the most frequent cause of the server not recognising the supply or reporting a redundancy loss.

Pre-order compatibility checks

Verify that your server chassis supports Flex Slot power supplies and provides an AC 230 V source for each bay. Confirm the total power budget of the installed supplies matches the system configuration. The module width is 3.8 in; ensure no adjacent components block the slot.
