Licence d'extension Windows Server 2022 Standard

Questions about this item

How do I apply the 4-core Standard add-on licence to an existing Windows Server 2022 installation?

Activate the product key through the Windows Server licensing interface; the licence then adds four licensed cores to the host.

Will this licence require renewal or a new purchase when a later Windows Server version is released?

The licence is perpetual for Windows Server 2022; upgrading to a future major release would need a separate licence.

What is the core-count limit that applies when stacking multiple add-on licences on one physical host?

Each add-on covers four cores; the host must be licensed for every physical core present, so total cores determine how many licences are needed.
