Windows Server 2025 Datacenter 16-Core License

This HPE accessory provides an additional license for Microsoft Windows Server 2025 Datacenter edition covering 16 cores. It is intended for organisations expanding virtualisation capacity on existing licensed servers. The software supports quick and easy installation on compatible PC hardware.

Upgrade from Standard edition

This license replaces a Standard edition entitlement or a Datacenter license covering fewer cores when workloads demand unlimited virtual instances. The jump is worth it when consolidation ratios increase beyond the current core allowance or when Shielded VMs and Storage Spaces Direct features become necessary.
