HPE 1400W Platinum Power Supply

The HPE 723594-001 is a 1400-watt Platinum-rated power supply built for HPE Flexible Slot server platforms. It targets data-centre operators who need hot-plug, tool-less installation and high-efficiency power delivery for dense compute configurations.

Compatibility check before ordering

Verify that the target server uses the HPE Flexible Slot form factor and supports 1400W Platinum units. Confirm the chassis has an available Flex Slot bay and that the system firmware recognises this part number for hot-plug operation.

Integration into a server build

The supply slides into a Flex Slot bay without tools and shares a common electrical design with other Flex Slot units, allowing mixed-wattage deployments. Platinum certification delivers up to 94% efficiency, reducing waste heat and freeing thermal headroom for other components.

Questions about this item

Does the 723594-001 unit ship with cables or mounting hardware, or must those be purchased separately?

The power supply uses the HPE Flexible Slot form factor for hot-plug, tool-less installation into compatible HPE servers; cables and rails are part of the server chassis, not the supply itself.

How do I decide between the 1400 W Platinum and the 800 W Titanium option for my server?

Choose the 1400 W Platinum when your configuration needs the higher wattage headroom; the 800 W Titanium delivers up to 96 % efficiency but only half the output capacity.

What does the 94 % Platinum efficiency rating mean for daily power draw in a running server?

At typical loads the supply converts up to 94 % of AC input into usable DC power, so less electricity is wasted as heat and operating costs are lower.
