Tower server with 16-core Xeon Silver 4514Y, 64 GB DDR5, dual 960 GB SATA SSDs and redundant 800 W power supplies
Installed Memory Size 64GB
CPU Model Xeon Silver 4514Y
Model 1.92TB SSD
The HPE ProLiant ML110 Gen11 is a single-processor tower system built for small to mid-sized organisations and remote offices. It ships with one Intel Xeon Silver 4514Y processor, 64 GB of DDR5 memory, and two 960 GB SATA SSDs managed by an MR408i-o storage controller. Dual 800 W hot-plug power supplies provide redundancy from day one.
The 16-core Xeon Silver 4514Y runs at a 2.0 GHz base frequency with a 150 W TDP, allowing continuous operation without thermal throttling. Dual standard fans and optional redundant fan kits keep airflow stable under prolonged workloads. PCIe 5.0 x16 slots and an OCP 3.0 slot remain available for additional accelerators such as the NVIDIA RTX 4000 Ada graphics card.
Only one processor socket is populated and the chassis supports a maximum of one CPU, so core count cannot be expanded beyond the installed 16 cores. Memory can grow to 1.5 TB across 16 DDR5 slots, but compute scaling requires a different platform. Buyers who need more than 16 cores or dual-socket performance should evaluate alternative server models.

Other versions of this model
The processor has a 150 W TDP and the chassis includes two standard hot-swap fans alongside dual 800 W Platinum supplies, so sustained workloads are cooled by the standard fan set without requiring the optional redundant fan kit.
The system ships without any OS or hypervisor; you must supply your own Windows Server, Linux distribution or VMware ESXi licence and installation media to make the 64 GB DDR5 memory and 2 x 960 GB SATA SSDs usable.
Yes, the two x16 PCIe 5.0 slots and the x16 OCP3 slot are backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 cards, and the dual embedded 1 GbE ports connect directly to standard Cat5e or Cat6 cabling you already use.
