Tri-band Wi-Fi 6E indoor access point with dual radios covering 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz, 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet uplink and Bluetooth 5
The HPE S3J34A AP-615 is an indoor wireless access point built for enterprises that need more capacity across three frequency bands. It suits IT teams deploying dense Wi-Fi 6E networks in offices, schools or campuses where 6 GHz spectrum is available. The dual-radio design lets each unit serve two of the three bands at once, so multi-AP layouts can cover 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz without extra hardware. It is not for buyers who need a single radio that operates on all three bands simultaneously.
The sole wired port is a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 connection, which caps total throughput to the switch at 2.5 Gbit/s. Aggregate wireless rates can reach 3.60 Gbit/s, so the uplink can become the bottleneck when both radios run high-load traffic. The port also supplies power at 12.50 W, so a compatible PoE source is required. Installations that expect sustained multi-gigabit wireless throughput should plan switch uplinks accordingly.
Each AP-615 contains two radios that software can assign to any two of the three bands — 2.40 GHz, 5 GHz or 6 GHz. A single unit therefore cannot serve all three bands at the same time; full tri-band coverage depends on deploying multiple APs with complementary radio assignments. This spec decides whether the model fits a given floor-plan and client mix.

The S3J34A is the 615 model, a member of the 610 series; both numbers refer to the same product line.
That figure is the combined theoretical maximum across the 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz radios; real-world throughput will be lower and depends on client mix and channel width.
The single 2.5G RJ-45 uplink caps total wired backhaul at 2.5 Gbit/s, so aggregate wireless traffic cannot exceed that wired bottleneck.
