VHF antenna pack for Maxon and Motorola radios

This 4-pack supplies black VHF antennas tuned to 136-174 MHz for compatible Maxon SP-series and Motorola Saber, SV, SU, CT, EP, EX, P and PR models. Each antenna measures 15 cm and is ready for two-way radio use.

Included coaster adds storage convenience

A branded HQRP coaster is bundled with the four antennas. It provides a small resting surface that helps keep the antennas organised when they are not attached to a radio.

Direct screw-on fitting with wide model coverage

Installation consists of threading each antenna onto the radio's antenna port; no tools or adapters are required. The long list of supported models reduces fitment errors, though users should still verify their exact radio model against the compatibility list before mounting.

Questions about this item

Will the 15 cm black VHF antenna need periodic replacement?

The 15 cm black VHF antenna is a passive component with no moving parts or consumables, so it does not require scheduled replacement under normal use.

What limits sustained transmission on the 136-174 MHz antenna?

The antenna itself imposes no duty-cycle limit; any restriction comes from the radio's own thermal protection or battery capacity.

Does the 15 cm antenna generate heat or noise during all-day operation?

The antenna produces no heat or noise; all thermal and acoustic output comes from the radio transmitter it is connected to.
