Ideal for small-office document security

The HSM Pure 120c is a cross-cut paper shredder designed for small offices that need reliable destruction of confidential documents. It shreds paper, credit cards, paper clips and staples into particles measuring 5/32 in by 1 in. The white unit meets DIN 66399 security level 3 requirements for sensitive data.

Cross-cut particles meet Security Level 3

The single specification that decides suitability is the DIN 66399 security level 3 rating produced by the cross-cut mechanism. This particle size satisfies typical compliance needs for personnel records, financial statements and client correspondence. Buyers who require level 4 or higher particle dimensions for classified material cannot use this model.

Rated for intermittent duty cycles

The shredder carries a duty rating of 3 minutes on followed by 30 minutes off, with a maximum throughput of 7 sheets per pass at 9 feet per minute. Under sustained load the motor will reach its thermal limit after the rated run time and must cool before further use. The 5.3 gallon wastebasket collects the output from multiple short sessions before emptying is required.
