Dual Xeon E5-2680 V4 processors with 28 cores total on a C612 X99 board supporting eight DDR4 slots, dual M.2, ten SATA ports, dual gigabit Ethernet and 7.1 audio
The HUANANZHI F8D PLUS is an E-ATX motherboard paired with two Xeon E5-2680 V4 processors, each with 14 cores and 28 threads at 2.4 GHz. The C612 chipset drives eight DDR4 slots in quad-channel mode at 1866, 2133 or 2400 MHz. Dual 8-pin plus 24-pin power inputs feed the 12-phase VRM across a 12-layer PCB.
Builders who need 28 combined cores for virtualization, rendering or compute workloads will use the three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots and two M.2 connectors. Six SATA3 and four SSATA3 ports give dense storage arrays. Buyers who want modern single-thread speed, integrated Wi-Fi or a consumer chipset should look elsewhere.
Each Xeon E5-2680 V4 carries a 120 W rating, so the dual-socket layout demands 240 W of sustained CPU cooling plus VRM airflow. The board provides six fan headers to manage that load. Without adequate heatsinks and case flow the system will throttle under full multi-core utilisation.

Four-channel DDR4 2400 MHz feeds both 14-core processors simultaneously, giving each CPU its own memory controller path so multi-threaded workloads scale across all 28 threads without fighting a single channel.
The x4 PCIe 3.0 link tops out at 32 Gb/s, so an NVMe drive in the 22110 slot cannot exceed that ceiling regardless of its own rated speed.
The board measures 300 mm by 320 mm, which is larger than ATX, so it requires an E-ATX or XL-ATX chassis with matching mounting holes and clearance for the 24-pin plus dual 8-pin power connectors.
