Hubbell FT10BK5 Floor Cable Cover Black 5 ft

SKU CH-PGYG-VQQ0S

A 5 ft black PVC floor cable cover with a single 1 1/4 in high channel protects cords and meets ADA requirements

  • Protects cables with a single 1 1/4 in high channel
  • ADA compliant low-profile design for accessible floor routing
  • Durable black PVC construction resists wear in busy areas
  • Smooth texture reduces tripping hazards over the 5 ft length
  • Accommodates cables up to 1 1/4 in diameter for versatile use

Single-Channel Floor Cable Cover

The Hubbell FT10BK5 is a black PVC floor cable cover designed to protect a single cable run across walkways. It suits offices, retail spaces or temporary event setups where tripping hazards must be reduced and cables kept organised.

1 1/4 Inch Channel Height Limits Cable Diameter

The single channel measures 1 1/4 inches high by 1 3/4 inches wide, so only cables with an outer diameter up to 1 1/4 inches will fit. The cover has no rated load capacity and is not intended for vehicle traffic or heavy rolling equipment.

Check Floor Length and ADA Needs Before Ordering

Each unit is 5 ft long, so measure the total run to decide how many pieces are required. The smooth texture and low 1 11/16 inch profile meet ADA guidelines, but verify that the transition height works with your specific flooring material.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 5 ft length or a different size for my cable run?

The FT10BK5 is supplied as a single 5 ft section; join multiple covers end-to-end for longer runs or cut to length on site for shorter ones.

What does the 1 1/4 in channel height mean once the cover is on the floor?

It accepts cables up to 1 1/4 in diameter while keeping the top surface only 1 11/16 in high for low-profile tripping protection.

Does the smooth PVC surface meet ADA requirements for wheelchair traffic?

Yes, the cover is ADA compliant and its smooth texture allows wheels to roll across without catching.
