Cable Support Grip for 0.50–0.62 in Cables

This tin-coated bronze grip secures cables measuring 0.50 in to 0.62 in diameter using a single lace closing design. It provides a breaking strength of 530 lb and meets CSA certification standards. The eye-style construction suits indoor or outdoor cable management runs.

10 in Mesh and 7 in Eye Offer Flexible Mounting

A 10 in mesh length distributes tension evenly across the cable jacket to prevent damage during pulls. The 7 in eye allows attachment to hooks, bolts or messenger strands without extra hardware. Tin coating resists corrosion in damp or exposed locations.

Handles Medium-Diameter Bundles Up to 530 lb

The grip comfortably supports cable bundles within the stated diameter range under sustained loads up to the rated breaking strength. It runs out when cable diameters exceed 0.62 in or when loads surpass 530 lb, requiring a larger or stronger grip model.

Questions about this item

Will the tin-coated bronze mesh need replacement after repeated loading?

The tin-coated bronze mesh resists corrosion and is rated for a 530 lb breaking strength, so it does not require scheduled replacement under normal use.

What limits continuous tension on the 0.50-0.62 in cable range?

The grip’s 530 lb breaking strength is the first limit reached if sustained load approaches that value.

Does the grip generate heat or noise when supporting cable all day?

It is a passive mechanical support with no moving parts, so it produces no heat and no noise during continuous operation.
