Questions about this item

How often should the screw terminals on this 5-15P plug be re-tightened?

Re-tighten the screw terminals after the first few hours of use and then inspect them periodically; the nylon housing and screw terminals stay secure under normal commercial duty.

What is the first limit reached when this 15 A plug runs continuously at full load?

The 15 A current rating is the limiting factor; sustained operation at 15 A on a 125 V AC circuit will reach the device's rated capacity before any thermal or mechanical limit.

How much heat does the nylon housing produce when the plug carries 15 A all day?

The IP20-rated nylon housing remains cool to the touch at rated load; no forced cooling is needed and the chemical-resistant material shows no discolouration under continuous 15 A operation.
