25-pair 66 B wiring block

The Hubbell Premise Wiring 66 B block provides 25 pairs of split connections in a 6 x 50 configuration. It is designed for voice and low-speed data distribution in premises cabling systems. Installers use it to terminate and cross-connect solid conductor cables on standard 66-type hardware.

TIA-568-C.2 compliant construction

The block meets TIA-568-C.2 standards for component performance and mechanical reliability. Each of the 50 clips accepts one pair, giving 25 total pairs across six pins per row. No legs are attached, so the block mounts directly to a backboard or bracket supplied separately.

Verify mounting space and clip type

Before ordering, confirm that the 13 3/8 inch depth, 1 1/4 inch height and 2 3/4 inch width fit your backboard layout. Ensure your termination tool matches the clip pair type specified for this block. Buyers needing pre-attached mounting legs or a different pair count should select another model.

Questions about this item

How often do the 50 clips on the 66 B block need re-termination?

The 50 clips are designed for permanent punch-down; re-termination is only needed if a pair is moved or damaged.

What is the first limit reached when all 25 pairs carry continuous traffic?

The block is passive with no active components, so no electrical or thermal limit appears under normal voice or data loads.

Does the 13 3/8 in depth generate noticeable heat when mounted in a closed cabinet?

No heat is produced because the wiring block contains no powered circuitry; it simply terminates copper pairs.
