Transparent strain-relief cord grip secures 0.38 to 0.44 in cables with stainless-steel mesh at a 3/8 in MNPT box connection
The Hubbell 7401003 is a liquid-tight cord connector that provides strain relief for a single cable. Its aluminium body and stainless-steel mesh grip accept diameters from 0.38 in to 0.44 in and thread into a 3/8 in MNPT box connection.
Electricians and panel builders who need to seal and secure flexible cord at a knockout will find this connector suitable. It is not intended for installations requiring insulated throats, multiple cable entries or larger diameter ranges.
Confirm the enclosure provides a 3/8 in MNPT threaded opening and that the cable outer diameter falls within the 0.38 in to 0.44 in range. The straight aluminium body extends 7/8 in from the box face and the external mesh adds 3 3/4 in of strain relief length.

The grip fits cables from 0.38 in to 0.44 in outer diameter, so the cord you already own must fall within that range.
Yes, the straight aluminum body uses a standard 3/8 in MNPT thread that matches common knockouts on legacy boxes.
The stainless-steel mesh strain relief should extend 3 3/4 in beyond the body and the cord must not pull out when tugged gently.
