Industrial Watertight Locking Plug

The Hubbell HBL28W83 is a NEMA L23-30P locking plug rated for 30 A at 347/600 V AC three-phase power. It suits industrial facilities, generator hook-ups and temporary power distribution where a secure, polarised connection is required.

Sustained-Load Behaviour

The thermoplastic elastomer housing resists chemicals and impact while maintaining a watertight seal during continuous operation. Screw-terminal wiring ensures conductors stay clamped under vibration and thermal cycling, so the plug retains its rated current capacity without loosening over time.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

The assembly operates silently with no moving parts and draws no power of its own. Yellow thermoplastic elastomer housing stays cool at the 30 A rating, and the straight orientation keeps cable strain low in normal panel or cord-set installations.
