Upgrade from standard residential outlets

This receptacle replaces basic 5-15R devices when a four-point grounding system and dielectric strength of 2,000 V are required. The jump is worth it in healthcare, commercial or high-traffic areas where CSA C22.2 No. 42 and Federal Specification W-C-596 compliance are specified. Standard outlets lack the illuminated face and reinforced grounding.

Back and side wiring with #14–#10 AWG copper
