20 A 125/250 V Locking Plug

The Hubbell HBL9965C is a three-pole, three-wire locking plug rated for 20 A at 125/250 V AC single-phase. It is designed for industrial environments where a secure, non-NEMA connection is required.

Build Quality and Daily Use

A ribbed nylon housing provides impact and chemical resistance while brass blades ensure reliable electrical contact. The cord grip accepts diameters from .36 in to .93 in for 16 AWG to 8 AWG stranded copper, and a clear funnel entry eases wire termination. An integral dust shield limits contaminant ingress in the wiring chamber.

Replacing Worn Industrial Plugs

This plug replaces damaged or non-locking connectors on portable cords up to 8 AWG in 20 A 125/250 V service. The upgrade is worth it when a locking interface, chemical-resistant housing and strain-relieving cord grip are needed for harsh conditions.
