Category 6 Patch Cord, 7 ft

Hubbell Premise Wiring HC6Y07 is a yellow Category 6 patch cord with RJ45 connectors on both ends. The round cable uses 24 AWG conductors and a PVC jacket rated CM for commercial installations. Clear boots protect the connector tabs during handling.

Suited for standard network links

This cord fits typical office or home Ethernet runs up to seven feet between a switch, router or patch panel and a device. Buyers who need shielded cable, plenum-rated jacket, longer reach or a different colour should look at other options.

Transmission speed rated at 10 GBps

The cord meets ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-C.2 and ISO 11801/60603-7-41 for 10 GBps performance over the full length. Unshielded construction keeps the cable flexible for routing in tight cable management channels.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the patch cord is performing at Category 6 after installation?

Test the link with a cable certifier that validates ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-C.2 and ISO 11801/60603-7-41 compliance; a passing result confirms 10 GBps transmission capability over the 7 ft run.

What connectors and accessories are included, and is anything else needed for a typical Ethernet drop?

Both ends come factory-terminated with RJ45 plugs and clear boots; no extra connectors are required, just plug into compatible keystone jacks or switch ports.

Which length should I choose if I need a 7 ft yellow Category 6 patch cord with clear boots?

This specific model is the 7 ft yellow version with clear boots on both ends; select HC6Y07 when that exact length and colour are required.
