A 15 A 125 V hospital-grade duplex receptacle with isolated ground construction and back-and-side wiring for #14–#10 AWG copper
The Hubbell IG8200R is a 15 A, 125 VAC duplex receptacle built to hospital-grade standards. Its isolated-ground design separates the grounding contacts from the mounting strap to reduce electrical noise. The nylon face includes a finder groove for easier plug alignment in low-light conditions.
The device accepts both back and side wiring using screw terminals that handle #14 to #10 AWG solid or stranded copper conductors. This flexibility simplifies installation in new work or retrofit projects. The NEMA 5-15R configuration fits standard North American plugs without adapters.
Ideal for medical equipment, audio systems or data racks where an isolated ground path is specified. It is rated for dry indoor locations only and carries UL 498, CSA C22.2 No. 42 and Federal Specification W-C-596 listings. Installers needing weather-resistant or GFCI protection should select a different device.
