3/4 in Liquid-Tight Steel Conduit

The Hubbell RACO 3403 is a straight conduit connector designed for 3/4 inch trade-size liquid-tight conduit. It provides a secure, grounded termination point for flexible metallic or Type B nonmetallic liquid-tight conduit runs. The fitting is rated for use in both indoor and outdoor environments. It meets requirements for Class I Division 2, Class II Divisions 1 and 2, and Class III Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations.

Zinc-Plated Steel Construction

The connector body is manufactured from steel with a zinc electroplate finish to resist corrosion in damp or exposed installations. An innovative split gland-ring creates a reliable seal around the conduit jacket to prevent pull-out under vibration or tension. A sealing washer and heavy-duty locknut are supplied with the fitting to secure it to a box or enclosure. All components are reusable, allowing the connection to be disassembled and reinstalled if routing changes are required.

Replaces Worn or Non-Compliant Fittings

This connector upgrades installations that currently use unsealed or deteriorated fittings in wet or hazardous areas. The jump is worthwhile when existing hardware no longer maintains a positive bond or liquid-tight seal around the conduit. It is not suited for applications requiring an insulated throat or for conduit sizes other than the 3/4 inch trade size specified.
