Raco 11.5 cu in Extension Ring

The Raco 653 is a welded handy box extension ring designed for electrical installations. It provides additional wiring capacity within standard 4 in. by 2 in. boxes. The unit is acceptable for use in two-hour fire-rated walls. Silver finish resists corrosion in typical indoor environments.

Capacity and knockouts

The 11.5 cu. in. volume accommodates conductor fill for common branch circuits. Eight 1/2 in. knockouts allow flexible conduit entry from multiple sides. Installations requiring larger conduit sizes or higher fill volumes will need a different box.
