Conduit Outlet Body for IMC and RMC

This RACO LR200 conduit outlet body is made from powder-coated aluminum with a silver finish. It accepts threaded hubs and fits trade size 2 in IMC and RMC raceways. The flat-back LR shape provides a pulling point in conduit runs. It meets NEC requirements for the listed applications.

Suited for commercial conduit installations

Electricians running 2 in IMC or RMC who need a code-compliant pulling access point will use this body. It is not intended for hazardous locations. Installers requiring a different body style such as LB, T, or C should select the matching configuration. Buyers needing a non-threaded connection type must choose another product.

67 cu in body capacity for conductor fill

The internal volume of 67 cubic inches determines how many conductors can be pulled through this outlet body. Verify the fill calculation against the conductor count and size before installation. The trade size 2 in hubs and threaded connection type must match the raceway system in use.

Questions about this item

Does the powder-coated aluminum body run hot or make noise when conduit runs continuously?

The aluminum body with powder-coated finish is a passive conduit fitting, so it generates no heat and produces no noise during continuous operation.

What conduit and fittings must I already have to install this LR-style outlet body?

You need 2 in trade-size IMC or RMC conduit plus matching threaded couplings or nipples to connect the two threaded hubs on this LR body.

Will the 67 cu in capacity accept the same wire fill as my existing 2 in rigid metal conduit?

Yes, the 67 cubic-inch capacity matches standard 2 in trade-size conduit fill limits for IMC and RMC, so existing wire counts remain valid.
