Straight aluminium connector seals cords from 0.75 to 0.88 in and fits 1/2 in MNPT boxes
The Hubbell SHC1028 is a straight aluminium connector that seals a single cord against moisture and dust at a 1/2 inch MNPT box entry. Its orchid gland colour identifies the 0.75 in to 0.88 in cord diameter range for quick visual verification during installation.
The connector threads directly into a 1/2 inch trade-size knockout, requiring no external strain-relief accessory. The straight body keeps the cable run compact inside enclosures where space is limited and bend radius must be preserved.
The gland accepts one cord between 0.75 in and 0.88 in outer diameter, providing a watertight seal within that window. Cables thinner than 0.75 in or thicker than 0.88 in cannot be secured with this model.
