Underground Cord Connector 1/2 in

The Hubbell UFC0001 is a liquid-tight underground cord connector designed for a single cable with a diameter between .25 in and .55 in. It threads onto a 1/2 in MNPT box connection and provides a straight, secure entry point for buried or wet-location wiring. The aluminium body resists corrosion in direct-burial applications.

No external strain relief is fitted, so the cable relies on the internal gland seal and the 1 1/8 in body length for pull-out protection. The transparent gland colour and silver body allow quick visual confirmation that the cable is fully seated. Installers tighten the connector by hand or with a wrench on the hex flats of the aluminium housing.

Sealed for wet and buried use

The liquid-tight rating keeps moisture and soil from reaching the enclosure interior when the gland is properly compressed around a cable in the .25 in to .55 in range. No insulation is included on the connector itself, so the circuit conductors must be rated for the environment. Power draw and noise are not applicable to this passive fitting.
