Hubbell Cat 6 Patch Cord 7 ft

This Hubbell Premise Wiring patch cord is a Category 6 Ethernet cable built for voice and data networks. It carries RJ45 connectors on both ends with clear boots and a round blue PVC jacket. The 7 ft length suits rack-to-panel or desktop connections in commercial environments.

Suited for standard Gigabit and 10 Gbps links

Installers running structured cabling to the ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 and ISO 11801 standards will find the 24 AWG unshielded construction compliant. Buyers who need shielded cable for noisy industrial sites or plenum-rated jacket for air-handling spaces should select a different product.

Transmission speed rated at 10 Gbps

The cable meets the Category 6 performance class with a tested transmission speed of 10 Gbps over the specified length. This single rating determines whether the cord supports the required application bandwidth.

Questions about this item

Should I pick a different length or colour for my Cat 6 patch cord?

This cord is 7 ft long with a blue PVC jacket; other lengths or colours are separate part numbers not covered here.

Will the 10 GBps rating deliver that speed on my office network?

The 10 GBps rating is the Category 6 limit; actual throughput depends on your switch, NIC and cabling quality.

Does the RJ45 connector follow the TIA 568 standard and what does that cap?

Yes, it meets ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-C.2 and ISO 11801/60603-7-41, capping performance at Category 6 specifications.
