Aluminum Wire Cap Connector SHC1033

This Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems SHC1033 is a straight liquid-tight cord connector made from aluminum with a blue gland colour code. It accepts a single cord with a diameter range of .38 in to .50 in and threads into a 3/4 in MNPT box connection. The fitting has no external strain relief and no insulation.

Installers needing a single straight entry

It suits electricians running one cable into a threaded enclosure where external strain relief is not required. It is not for installations that demand an external strain relief device or multiple cable entries. Buyers who need insulated throats or different thread sizes should look at other fittings.

Cord diameter range .38 to .50 in

The critical specification is the cord diameter range of .38 in to .50 in; the cable must fall within this window for a liquid-tight seal. The connector carries CSA LR27378 and UL E54218 (M) certifications. The body length from box to end is 1 1/8 in.
